The aim of this paper is to investigate the relationship between structural narratology and interdisciplinary studies. We will try to answer two main questions: What factors have been effective in narratology’s orientation toward interdisciplinary studies? Is this tendency the result of a possibility in narration or a methodological necessity? The movement of narratology to interdisciplinary is observable not only in new narratological tendencies but also in changes in structural theories. Therefore, this article will trace the roots of this tendency in the revises and critiques of these theories until 1970s. By tracing these changes it can be realized that the theories of structural narrotology have broken with idea of independence and selfsufficiency of literature and embraced other disciplines. The main factors in these changes are: attention to cultural elements and reading process in the perception of narrative structure. These considerations have been accompanied by some results; First, the main targets of narratology changed from investigating textual properties to reading and understanding the narration process; and Second, some disciplines and fields related to culture and mind studies found their way into narratology.

The present article endeavours to examine, through a descriptive and analytical methodology, the approach taken by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), regarding interdisciplinary studies in the field of Higher Education. The research explains the programmes and policies of this organization in the area of Higher Education and discusses the process of the evolution of interdisciplinary towards transdisciplinarity in the surveys and researches conducted by the organization. After reflecting on the reasons for its tendency towards transdisciplinary studies, the research analyses the criteria of the passage from structural interdisciplinarity to behavioural transdisciplinarity. The article concludes that OECD has adopted the passage from structural interdisciplinarity towards behavioural transdisciplinarity as a basis for policymaking and educational and research orientation in the field of Higher Education. This approach tends to promote the capabilities, innovations, skills and creativity of students and to increase their objective understanding of social and professional conditions and necessities, so that the context for their successful and constructive presence in technical markets, as well as their effective responsiveness to the needs of their society, is provided for.

The appearance of new sciences and conflicts arising from reductionism in domain of science and knowledge, explains the necessity of interdisciplinary studies. Some scientists believe the history of interdisciplinary studies is rooted in ancient Greece, but in fact interdisciplinary studies started in industrial laboratories, the first center for interdisciplinary studies, about 150 years ago. Like every phenomenon interdisciplinary studies base on some foundations. What kink of sorts do they have? How these foundations explain this approach? This article proposes three foundations; logical base, epistemological base and cognitive base. The methodological pluralism is the most important logical base for interdisciplinary studies. Integration is the most important epistemological base in this approach. Finally complicated systems and their formulas are the most important cognitive base in interdisciplinary approach. This article tries to explain interdisciplinary studies by these bases and then tries to explain traits of these bases. It also surveys some offshoot problems such as definitions of interdisciplinary approach, kinds of it and its expansion in all of fields. The interdisciplinary approach is multiple origins. The multiple origin problems are rooted in various sciences and they cannot be survey by single science. The study of religion and professional ethics are samples of multiple origin disciplines. interdisciplinary studies are necessary for humanities because of its complex subject, that is, human. So it cannot study by single science.

When requisites of interdisciplinary studies are discussed from a linguistic angle, this non-prescribed field of science is expected to come up with models to describe different aspects of relationship among scientific languages, so that requisites could be deduced under prescribed conditions. According to existing ideas in different fields of human sciences about the relationship between language and thought, expansion of inter language relations due to contacts among different fields of science is a tool to develop thought and new horizons which are offered by those sciences. This will show the sensitive role of language in relation to sciences, on the one hand, while on the other hand, intensifying concerns that may result from abnormalities in inter-language relations. Attention to some aspects of scientific language like differentiation between objective and historical aspects is essential for regulation of these relations and considering historical concepts as being objective or the opposite, can have destructive effects on interdisciplinary relations. Terminologies that are affected by other sciences which can be evaluated through a historical linguistic approach will be only worrisome when origins of those terms cannot be realized correctly or they are mixed or considered synonymous with other terms. Some infrastructural studies such as finding about linguistic genealogy of scientific languages as well as some case studies on genealogical, typological, and contact relations among languages can ensure more usefulness of interdisciplinary studies. Moreover, it seems that development of some study models may lead to emergence of methods to study how scientific courses can be linked and mechanism through which concepts are exchanged among them.

During the last decades, interdisciplinary researches has been of serious notice in several world research centers and universities; as an approach in which the researchers create interaction among different fields of study and interlink them together in order to find a proper and suitable pattern for solving a variety of issues. This paper intends to familiarize the interdisciplinary research approach, in addition to introducing some of these researches which are related to literary researches. This essay offers an accurate and precise definition on interdisciplinary researches and its various kinds in literary studies, while the grounds and reasons for a keen interest in these researches and the basic principles of interdisciplinary researches are surveyed. Then samples of works which have analyzed, the Persian literary texts through this approach are introduced and surveyed. studies reveal that during the last decade, Persian literary texts are analyzed through the interdisciplinary approach to a very high extent and as a matter of fact, this considerable increase and development has led to both the rereading and serious consideration of Persian literary works through a fresh attitude.

Comparative Literature and Translation studies have so far expanded the frontiers of their own disciplines beyond their traditional conventional sense. Individually or in cooperation with the other, either discipline can lead to a more comprehensive understanding of literatures and cultures. The synergy between the two disciplines through bringing together methods and theories from both can result in innovative studies that cannot be properly conducted within the boundaries of either discipline separately. Adopting a historical perspective, the present paper highlighted the points of convergence between the two disciplines in order to identify the fields of research which can benefit most from the cooperation between the scholars of comparative literature and translation studies. Literary history, translation history, and reception studies belong to such fields of research.

Relentless efforts of scholars in humanities to strike a balance between the beliefs of human beings about the world and life on the hand, and the issue of outlook on life (world view) indicates that there is a large gap between people’s beliefs and their outlook on life (world view). Thus, it seems that any thought (however metaphysical or abstract), any experience (at any level of intuition), any point of view and belief (however intra-disciplinary or dated historically) is inevitably influenced by the social conditions. On the other hand, one of the most critical problems in humanities is the lack of paradigm. Therefore interdisciplinary studies can fill in a portion of this gap. interdisciplinary studies and coordination of different specializations in the study or a single problem or various problems requires in the first place, an open, coordinated and analytical mind as well as the thought and initiative of the elite. interdisciplinary studies are not limited to specific discipline and cannot be limited within a specific boundary. All scholars in humanities, especially in Iran, should be actively involved in interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary and meta-disciplinary studies based on their deep philosophical knowledge, academic capabilities, historical background and recent political developments in the country. This is because no human social activity is one-dimensional. Interaction between different disciplines in humanities, however, has made it possible for the humanities to follow new topics in all academic areas. Therefore fallibility of human knowledge, its complimentary nature, multi originality of knowledge and moral commitment necessitate a serious approach to interdisciplinary studies in humanities.

With the growing level of scientific and scholarly studies, it is becoming more difficult for researcher to gain a comprehensive recognition of scientific sources. So far there has not been complete information about scientific sources and, sometimes, researchers studying in the field of Quran and law find it difficult to learn about sources. This study is a library research seeking to introduce sources of interdisciplinary studies on Quran and law. It first seeks to introduce printed sources in the field of Quran and law, which will lead to new and complete writings by researchers in the field. This will help researchers identify the sources and subjects covered and recognize research gaps, which will provide grounds for planning to remove flaws and fill the gaps. Also, a research proposal titled “ Descriptive Bibliography of Quran and law” has been presented at the end of the paper the realization of which is another objective of this writing. In the second phase, the purpose and problem of the research has been determining the number of writings in the said field. A total of 428 sources (227 in Persian and 151 in Arabic) about Quran and law are introduced in this writing. Surely, knowing the sources helps prevent duplication and conducting repetitive researches and enrich future studies and writings.
